1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Daizy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Daizy is a personal journaling application that provides:

• Daily diary writing tools
• AI-assisted writing suggestions (Premium feature)
• Voice-to-diary recording (Premium feature)
• Custom diary backgrounds (Premium feature)
• Writing streak tracking

3. Premium Subscription

Daizy offers a Premium subscription with additional features.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple App Store account
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy
• Price changes: We will notify you of any price changes in advance

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all diary entries and content you create in Daizy. By using the AI features, you grant us a limited license to process your submitted text solely to provide AI-generated suggestions. We do not claim ownership of your diary content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Circumvent any security or access control features of the App

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI writing assistance feature generates suggestions based on your input. Please note:

• AI-generated suggestions are provided for assistance only and may not always be accurate or appropriate
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing any AI-generated content before saving it
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and all non-user content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.

10. Data Loss

Diary entries are stored locally on your device. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your device to prevent data loss. We are not responsible for any loss of diary data due to device failure, accidental deletion, or App uninstallation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes within the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
