TaiWin - Taiwan Receipt Lotto is an unofficial, free utility app that helps users check Taiwan Uniform Invoice (統一發票) lottery results by scanning QR codes or entering invoice numbers manually. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Taiwan Ministry of Finance (財政部) or any government entity.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

No account registration or login required
No name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier collected
No analytics or tracking tools installed
No cookies used

3. Camera Usage

The app requests camera access solely for the purpose of scanning QR codes on receipts. Camera data is:

Processed entirely on your device in real-time
Never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server
Used only to decode QR code data for lottery checking

4. Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Scan history: Invoice numbers and check results you have scanned or entered
App settings: Your language preference and dark mode setting
Cached winning numbers: Lottery winning numbers for offline access

This data is stored using your device's local storage and is never transmitted to any external server. You can delete all scan history within the app at any time.

5. Network Requests

The app makes a single type of network request:

Fetching winning lottery numbers from a public GitHub Pages JSON endpoint

This request contains no personal information, no device identifiers, and no tracking parameters. If the network request fails, the app uses locally cached data.

6. Advertisements

This app displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect certain device information for ad serving purposes in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to any data collected by AdMob.
